This recipe is for minced beef patties with vegetables sauce. The beef patties are very easy to make and you can easily either do them with or without the sauce.
Ingredients for the beef patties
* 400 g of minced beef
* 1 egg
* 1 dl cream
* 100g feta cheese
* Salt & Pepper
Ingredients for the sauce
* 1 onion
* 3 tbsp olive oil
* 1 red or orange roasted peppers
* 400g chopped tomatoes
* 1 clove of garlic
* Chilli pepper
* 0.5 tsp red wine vinegar
* Salt & pepper
How to make the sauce
Chop the onion, bell pepper, garlic and chili into small pieces. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil over low heat and let the vegetables simmer gently in the oil on low heat for five minutes. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and let the sauce continue to simmer while you make the patties. After around 10 minuites mix the sauce smooth with hand blender. Stir in the vinegar, an extra tablespoon of olive oil and salt and pepper. Taste and tweak if necessary.
How to make the beef patties
Mix cream and eggs in a bowl. Stir in salt and pepper together with other spices you would like to add. Crumble the feta cheese and finally mix down the minced beef. Mix whole thing up, but do not overdo it. That would make the beef patties taste less and look a little dull.
Shape twelve small patties of ground meat, it is easiest to use your hands. Rinse your hands in could water so your hands not stick to the ground meat. Fry the steaks in generously with butter and then have them stand on a low heat for around 10 minuites before you server them together with the sauce.
