Today I had some beef with chili and Bearnaise sauce. Very easy to make and is very keto friendly. I make this kind of dish a little now and then just because it is so easy and it also tastes great.
2 small Chili (one green and one red)
½ Small Onion
2 cloves of Garlic
75g Bearnaise sauce (make your own or buy a ready one)
25g Olive oil
You start by chopping up some chili, garlic and onion into small pieces. Put the small pieces into the olive oil and add salt, pepper and other spices into it. Mix it around so the oil gets over everything. Put the mix to the side and let it sit there while you prepare the rest.
I sometimes put the beef on the grill and sometimes fry it on the stove. It of course gets much better when you prepare it on the grill but it also take much longer time. This time I fried it on the stove just enough for it to get color on all sides since I like my beef red on the inside.
I then prepare my Bearnaise sauce with 50g butter inside it to increase the fat percentage on it.
Put the pieces of beef on a plate and make sure you do not waste the oil poor the Bearnaise sauce over it. Then add the olive oil, chili, garlic and onion combination on the top. The olive oil will now have a spicy taste from the chili which mixes nicely into everything.
Serve it just as it is or together with some lettuce or cucumber to help soak up all that sauce.
