Sometimes when you are looking for something really nice to treat your friends with together with some coffee or tea you can take out a set of these nice Keto chocolate squares. They are easy to put together and you can keep them in the freezer until you need them. I have kept some for 7 days and works just fine to eat them after that.
Ingredients for Keto Chocolate Squares:
1 dL Whipping cream
50g Dark Chocolate 90%
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
3 dL Almond flour (or 2 dL Coconut flour)
Cut up the chocolate into small pieces. Heat the cream and let the chocolate melt in the cream. Add the butter and stir until it becomes a similar to a truffle texture. Add the vanilla powder and stir in the almond flour. If you feel it is needed take a little more almond flour so that it is possible to form squares. Dip the squares in the coconut flakes. Some tips to improve your Keto chocolate squares
I am allergic to almonds so I instead use coconut flour for the recipe. 3 dL of coconut flour is however too much so instead use 2 dL of coconut flour. If you feel it is not possible to form the squares with only 2 dL start to add on a little more to get the right consistency. Be aware that with both coconut flour and coconut flakes it will taste quite much coconut.
You can also add some coffee into the recipe to give them a taste of coffee. If you do so it does not require much and you might need to add additional flour to make it possible to form squares from it. If you want your desserts to be more sweet you can also add in your favorite sweetener.
