Sunday again so time for another status update for my keto diet weight loss progress. Last week started out very good with a total weight loss of 2.1 kilos. That is quite a large weight loss for only one week so this week I did not have very high expectations.
Since I did not go to the gym so much last week due to both knee pain and back pain I this week started out a little easy in the gym and have not done so many personal best this week. Managed to go to the gym a total of 4 times this week, including a 90min weight lifting session today. Have done some personal best in the chest exercises but for back and leg I have been taking it very easy.
I noticed this week that when I go to the gym it seems like the body binds some water or other things and I did increase from 92.1 kilos on the Monday morning to 93.2 kilos on Friday. Maybe quite natural but not really something I have noticed before. Did not eat more than normal during this time and did not drink more either so could just be a temporary thing. On Friday I went out to a seafood restaurant with some friends and had a lot of different seafood. Since I ate quite much that day I did expect to continue go up in weight but instead I dropped to 92.3 on the Saturday morning and today I was down to 91.7 kilos which is a new record low.
I have a hard time analyzing how the food I eat and how the exercise I do will impact my weight since it seems quite random. Maybe should not care so much about it and just be happy that I continue to loose weight in a rapid pace.
For next week I will try to go to the gym 5 times and will start doing some heavy lifting again for legs and back since I have not had any problems now for a week. Since I am so close to my 90 kilos goal now and still one and a half month left to September I do not see any problems at all to go below 90 kilos in that time. Looking at the speed I have been loosing weight so far I might even be down to 85 kilos in September. 5 bonus kilos would be nice, but not something that is mandatory.
