Low carb ice cream recipes
It is starting to become summer so what could be better than eating low carb ice cream when out in the sun.
I really love to eat this kind of low carb ice cream. Not only because it is healthy and good for my low carb diet but it also tastes really good. I would even say it tastes better than normal ice cream.
By following these simple low carb ice cream recipes you can put together a nice low carb ice cream in just a few minutes and start to enjoy the perfect diet ice cream. Since we all have our own preferences I have put together three different recipes with different taste and also different ingredients. They all taste excellent and are also perfect low carb ice cream.
Protein powder low carb ice cream

I regularly go to the gym and after my workout I usually eat a protein supplement so I always have some protein powder at home. Therefor I usually in the summer also try to make a protein powder based low carb ice cream. This recipe is really easy and all you need is protein powder and some heavy whipping cream.
1 Scoop Whey Protein
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Start by mixing the two ingredients together until the cream gets thick. Put everything in the freezer for about an hour (or until it is frozen). Once it is frozen you can enjoy it just as it is or serve it together with some blueberries or similar low carb fruits. You can also experiment with protein powder with different taste to see which one you like the best. Chocolate protein powder is my favorite.
The above recipe will end up in around 17 grams of fat, 1 gram of cabohydrates and 24 grams of protein.
Blueberry low carb ice cream

Another personal favorite is the blueberry low carb ice cream recipe. I have written about this one before but it is worth bringing up again. The ingredients for this one is heavy whipping cream, Creme fraiche, blueberries, egg yolk and vanilla powder.
Since it ends up at 91% fat and 6% carbohydrates it is very good for a low carb diet. The taste is also really excellent so check out my recipe for this keto ice cream.
Fruit low carb ice cream

The last recipe that I want to share is a simple low carb ice cream that is also based on heavy whipping cream. All you need to do is mix the whipping cream together with some fruit or berries such as blueberries or strawberries. Once it has been mixed together you put it in the freezer and keep it in there for around one hour. Once it is frozen you will have an really taste and low carb friendly ice cream.
