Free from work today due to holiday (worked last weekend so only 1 additional day off). I have in the last weeks started to go to the gym more and more and have noticed that training on keto diet is no real problem. Took a walk towards the gym for roughly 25 minutes and then had planned to do some heavy leg training. However since it was a holiday it seemed a lot of people had decided to also go to the gym at the same time so it was a little crowded so I could not do my planned weight lifting program.
Started off by a quick warmup and a little leg stretching before sitting down in the legpress. The gym has two legpress machine and they are also a little different in how heavy they are. One of them I have already maxed out and the other one I am working on increasing the weights on.
Started out with the old legpress machine that I have already maxed out and did 4 sets with 20 reps on each on the maximum weight. This was a new personal best for me, could have done more than 20 reps in each set also but do not want to go higher than 20 reps. Then I had planned to do some squats but the squats rack never got free and there was always 2-3 people using it so I skipped it for today and continued on to the other legpress machine after doing some other exercises in between.
Started out at a quite low weight and continued to increase it several times. Ended up doing a new personal best here also with a big increase in weights. Starting to get close to the maxiumum weight on this one also now and I think in 1-2 months I will be doing 4 sets with 10 reps each on the maximum weight on this machine also.
Finished the workout by doing some random arm exercises and also one cable fly for the chest area and to make sure I got really pumped out. In total a very good gym day and leg day with 2 big new personal best records on the two legpress machines. Did not get the chance to so some squats but will have to save that for next leg day or just put some in this comming weekend instead.
